League: North Coast League, Blue Division.
Coach: Gerry Rardin, 34th season.
Coach’s record: 239-112-2.
2012 record: 3-6, 3-2.
Players to watch: Pat Ford, Jr. QB; Bryan DiCillo, Sr. RB-LB; D.J. Aguilar, Sr. RB-DL; Alex Conley, Sr. OL-DL; John Conner, Sr. OL-DL; Spenser Theiss, Sr. OL-DL; Chris Kazimir, Jr. OL-DL; Mike Knoll, Sr. K-P; Matt McShane, Sr. RB-LB; Nick Schlosser, Jr. WR-DB; Zach Hatlovic, Jr. WR-DB; Anthony Siragusa, Jr., WR-DB; Joe Tupta, Jr., FB-DT.
Outlook: The Warriors return seven starters on offense and four on defense. Rardin is optimistic about this team. “The whole offseason started off so positively with a group of seniors wanting to take charge of things and be leaders,” Rardin said. “They posted signs on the boards and were so excited to get stronger in the weight room and be better overall in football. It was all player-led, and as coaches, when you see players that are that interested and they want to be hands on, that is a great sign. That type of attitude has not faltered. Really, I think this camp and series of two-a-days has gone the fastest of any that I have been around.” DiCillo, McShane, Conner and senior linebacker-offensive guard John Strayer are captains. Conner, Conley, Kazimir and Theiss are returning starters on the offensive line. Aguilar is entering his third-year as a defensive line starter. DiCillo is a linebacker to watch and Knoll has committed to kick and punt at Boston College.
