Lake 48, New Philadelphia 39

Guard Baylee Hymes led all scorers with 18 points in the Blue Streaks’ (19-4) victory at the North Canton Division I sectional at Walsh University on Monday.

Forward Baylen Dyrlund added 12 points, six rebounds and three blocks.

The Blue Streaks were leading by only four points at halftime, but used a 15-3 third-quarter run to pull away.

Tori Moreland paced the Quakers with 11 points and five rebounds.

Canton McKinley 70, Perry 35

The Bulldogs advanced in a North Canton Division I sectional game.

The Bulldogs were paced by Marquia Turner (17 points), Reukiah Smith (14), Tyler Newkirk (13) and Tazhia Petitt (10).

Mogadore 46, Burton Berkshire 24

Junior Ashley Barker led the Wildcats with 15 points in the Barberton Division III sectional game at Barberton High School.

Triway 63, East 14

The Titans cruised to victory over the Dragons in the Uniontown Division II sectional at Lake High School. Leading the Titans in scoring were Sarah Herald (11) and Courtney Cruise (10).
