Featured Wine: Tipsy Conductor from Barrel Run Crossing Winery & Vineyard - Sponsored Content

The Tipsy Conductor won the 2012 Ohio Wine Competition Silver Medal. It is a sweet white wine produced from Frontenac Gris. This wine has a great tropical fruit aroma and is pleasant and easy drinking.

Barrel Run Crossing Winery and Vineyards is a meticulous 10 acre vineyard set in a scenic, rural setting Rootstown, Ohio. Hand crafted wines made from predominantly Ohio-grown vines are available for sampling in the tasting room. Relax in the fresh air at the outdoor tables or sit in the warm and inviting tasting room. The nearby railroad crossing adds a nostalgic flavor as the train blows its whistle and rattles by several times each hour. Starting with the soil that has been tended by the Miller family for decades, new vineyards were planted where hay fields once were. The quaint tasting room opened in 2011 in an old renovated house for a cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home.
