Servings: 4 - 6 ea.



•12 ea.13-15ct Gulf shrimp (shell on preferred)

•1 bunch green onions

•2 cloves Garlic minced

•1 ea Bay leaf

• 1/3 each Bell peppers red and green variety

•1 tsp Paprika Spanish

•black pepper t.t. (to taste)

•kosher or sea salt t.t (to taste)

•1/2 each Onion Spanish

•1/4 cup clarified butter or cooking oil

•8 - 10 oz Beer (Hoppin Frog Turbo Shandy)

• Pinch/ t.t. (to taste) Cajun Seasoning

•1 tsp dried basil and thyme

•2 tbsp L& P Worcestershire

•2 ribs Celery diced

•1/4 tsp hot sauce like Tabasco

•2 fresh lemons

•4 oz Unsalted butter

•Plenty of French bread



Cook in a 10-inch sauté pan. First add the clarified butter or cooking oil and put on a low heat. Add the onions and celery and cook until the vegetables are lightly brown. Add the bell peppers and cook until soft. Add the fresh minced garlic and sauté until the garlic begins to brown. Add the liquid ingredients, Worcestershire sauce, juice of one lemon and beer to keep the garlic from over cooking. Add all the dry ingredients and simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes. Add the shrimp and the fresh green onions, hot sauce and cook for about 5 minutes or until the shrimp are fully cooked. Whisk in the unsalted butter and check the seasoning and adjust to your taste. Serve with plenty of French bread and garnish with more green onions finely chopped and lemon wedge.
